She will escort you full time and entertain you with historical snippets and fun facts and stories for each place we visit. \n \nThe worst part will be leaving as we return North to Paris again. Staying 3 nights in our lovely chic hotel\, we will sketch some iconic scenes for 2 days with Ian in this gorgeous city and then dine at one of Kate’s favourite local bistros for our Last Supper together. \nAll meals and accommodation are included throughout this 10 days.\nIn Paris let Kate take you around her favourite Paris haunts to sketch with Ian. We will be staying in our favourite little Left Bank St Germain des Pres hotel and we will escape any crowds together to sketch each day. We will wander around the exceptional property\, sketch the walled garden\, the parterre\, the pepper-pot towers\, the croquet lawn\, the woodland\, the vast rooms and salons etc. Endless vistas and time to just absorb it all. All meals are included as well as alcohol each day and lots of snacks and digestifs and aperitifs to keep the creative juices flowing!\nWe will dine locally one night in the tiny local village just down the road on the fine produce grown in our own chateau garden. 2 excursions to local sketch sites included in tour price\n3 nights in Paris on the Left Bank in our boutique hotel\n\n\n\n\n\nCOST:  all prices are in EUROS – to convert to your own currency click here to do the conversion: \n10 days  from JUNE 28 – July 7 in 2022  (begins and ends in Paris) \n3\,350 EUROS  per person twin or double sharing a room\n3\,100 EUROS  Non-sketchers (must be sharing room with a sketcher)\n570  EUROS  Single supp for solo travellers wanting their own room throughout the tour \nTour Inclusions: \n\nall tour accommodation –  grand home chateau with ensuite bathrooms\, all excursions\, a swimming pool and boutique accommodation in our Parisian hotel on the Left Bank.\nall transport whilst on tour\nall meals  and wines included with dinners\nall art tuition with Ian Fennelly ( 8 morning workshops)\ntour manager services throughout\n\nThe tour begins in Paris when we meet you the morning of June 28 at  Montparnasse railway station to train down as a group (1 hour trip) and then be met and transferred to our chateau in the Loire Valley. Train departure time to be advised later. \nThe tour ends after breakfast on July 7 in Paris after breakfast in our hotel. \n\n\nBOOKING CONDITIONS & COVID: As the world is still so precarious at the moment we will not be taking deposits at this stage. PLEASE FILL OUT THIS BOOKING FROM HERE  so that you are in our booking system and the first people to register their interest with this booking form will get first option to book on the tour (as it may fill out fast once we ask for payments)\nWe will contact you as soon as we are sure the tour can reasonably go ahead and then we will ask for your payment or deposit. DO NOT ORGANISE FLIGHTS until you have checked with us or we have contacted you regarding the tour status. \nIf the tour cannot go ahead after your payment because of a French covid lockdown\, we will be  refund you the entire cost of the tour before the tour departure. \nPlease note: If the country in which you live has a covid lockdown or prevents you from travelling then we may not be able to refund you the tour cost if we cannot replace your spot on the tour. (There is a certain element of Buyer Beware when booking for a tour as situations can change very suddenly so this is why we want to wait before we ask for a financial commitment to the tour)\nWe do require you to have travel cancellation insurance to protect you in regard to all other reasons why you cannot travel. * Travel insurance is a mandatory requirement for all participants on our tours. \nPARIS PRE-TOUR:  We suggest you book a hotel the night of June 27  before the tour starts in Paris to be ready to travel to Montparnasse station to meet the group on June 28. We can help you with suggesations. (The Hotel Littre is a beautiful hotel and a short walk to Montparnasse station so you do not have to worry about traffic problems the morning of departure!) \nACTIVITY LEVEL: We will mostly be walking everywhere to sketch. Please ensure that you are fit and able to walk up to 2 kms easily (uphill sometimes) and climb stairs without problem \nNON-SKETCHERS are most welcome on this tour too if they are sharing with a Sketcher.
